Help needed in finding missing teen

Police spokesperson Constable Mampho Mahlomola confirmed a missing person’s case has been opened.

DE DEUR – Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Sandile Modise from Ironside, who has been missing since August 8.

His aunt, Elisa Sehanka, reported him missing on August 12. She said Sandile asked to go to the tuck shop on the day he disappeared, but never returned.

Police spokesperson Constable Mampho Mahlomola confirmed a missing person’s case has been opened.

“Sandile was last seen wearing a blue hat, black jacket, green trousers, and brown takkies,” Mahlomola said.

Police are urging anyone with information about Sandile’s whereabouts to contact De Deur SAPS on 016 590 9200 or 071 675 7416.
