Local radio host wins big at inaugural national community radio awards

SEDIBENG.- Thapelo Tahleho, popularly known as Sutata, has taken home the coveted Best Traditional Show Presenter award at the inaugural National Community Radio Awards.
The ceremony, held at the Joburg Theatre in Johannesburg on August 15, recognised outstanding contributions to community radio across South Africa. Sutata, host of the popular traditional music show ‘Reparolathota’ on Sedibeng FM, was overjoyed to receive the award, which acknowledges his dedication to promoting traditional music and his engaging on-air personality.

This achievement is particularly notable given his previous four nominations in the South African Traditional Music Awards (SATMA).
