ANC Sedibeng’s Regional Policy Workshop held

The document calls on delegates to rise above narrow interests and leadership contests

VEREENIGING. – The ANC Sedibeng Region held its Regional Policy Workshop at the Vereeniging Hall on Sunday.

The party said that this was a build up to its16th regional conference, where a Discussion Document was also released.

In a statement the ANC Gauteng said that the release of the Discussion Document ahead of the conference represents administrative readiness.

“It is a call to action and a call to arms for ideological and political preparedness. It reaffirms the ANC’s historic mission of advancing the National Democratic Revolution and delivering a better life for all. This vision must remain at the centre of all deliberations.”

ANC Gauteng’s Tasneem Motara and Lebohang Maile were also in attendance.

The ANC Gauteng further said that the document calls on delegates to rise above narrow interests and leadership contests, and to focus firmly on the transformation agenda that defines the character, purpose and soul of the movement.

Amongst the senior members of the party in Gauteng who attended the event were Tasneem Motara and Lebohang Maile who touched on issues related to Sedibeng’s financial awakening and opportunities.
