Sukuma Lutsha Developments and AYDF unite to empower local youth
Their shared goal is to advocate for a drug-free environment and provide support to families affected by drug addiction.
SEDIBENG. – In a remarkable display of unity and shared purpose, Sukuma Lutsha Developments and the African Youth Development Fund (AYDF) have established a collaboration rooted in the empowerment of youth within the community.
Both organisations are driven by missions that focus on unlocking the potential of young people and fostering holistic development.
The impact of this collaboration was recently showcased at the Visceral Fat Challenge Event, at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Ground in Zone 14, Sebokeng. Drawing a large crowd, the event highlighted the community’s enthusiasm for health and wellness initiatives. AYDF played a pivotal role by providing a gig truck, refreshments for nearly 200 attendees, and sponsoring a tent for both the kiddies’ corner and elderly guests.

AYDF also introduced its partners, Ke Moja, who run the impactful youth programme titled “I’m Fine Without Drugs,” aimed at educating and supporting young people in making healthy, drug-free choices. Njabulo Mazibuko, a prominent figure within AYDF, emphasised the importance of sustaining this partnership beyond the Visceral Fat Challenge.
“We don’t want this relationship to end here. We envision a continuous collaboration that will serve and transform our community,” he stated.

Both organisations are calling on the community to actively participate in upcoming events.
Their shared goal is to advocate for a drug-free environment and provide support to families affected by drug addiction. Through these initiatives, they reignite career opportunities and help young people build lasting legacies.
The collaboration between Sukuma Lutsha Developments and AYDF stands as a beacon of hope, inspiring positive change and empowering youth to shape a brighter future.
