Two Lesotho nationals shot dead in Vuka

An unknown male appeared with a balaclava on his face and shot both deceased with a firearm and ran away.

SHARPEVILLLE. – A double murder case is being investigated after two Lesotho nationals we shot dead at the Matebeleng Shops in Vuka, Sharpeville on Saturday evening.

Police spokesperson, Constable Busisiwe Sango said that the police were summoned to the shooting incident and on arrival, they found two men’s bodies lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds.

“Both males were certified dead by paramedics on the scene. Preliminary investigation was conducted and it was discovered that both deceased are Lesotho nationals. Bystanders allege that an unknown male appeared with a balaclava on his face and shot both deceased with a firearm and ran away when the crowd scattered after hearing the two gunshots,” Sango said.

No suspect arrested has been made at this time.
