SEBOKENG.- While others go out partying on the weekends, these dedicated young people spend their time playing sports.
Sedibeng Ster Sport was caught by the commitment of Naledi Maduna, Molefe Maduna, and Lebohang Tseisi during the recent Heist of Combo U12 Diski Challenge at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Centre.

They will be the first to arrive and last to leave, long after the final whistle has blown. The trio was tasked with providing medical care to injured players. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, these youngsters expressed their deep love for football and their desire to support young players both physically and emotionally.

Naledi (Maduna), who was the first to join the tournament organsing team, later recruited the other two to work with her in this year’s tournament. Apart from medical care, the tournament featured substitution boards, which is something that even the Hollywood Men’s League doesn’t have at their games.

The tournament was well-organised and structured to say the least.
Naledi told Sedibeng Ster Sport that football is her first love, especially volunteering to serve the youngsters.
“You can see how many of the players cry after getting hurt. We’re there not only to provide medical attention but also to comfort and encourage them. Even after the games, they still come to us for help. It’s such a blessing to work with this age group. We really enjoy it.”
