Mamba crowned 2025 Ms SADTU Gauteng
“I feel every teacher, or member of SADTU, can see opportunities and responsibilities that will come with occupying space within the Union."
SEBOKENG.- Nohlanhla Mamba hoisted the Sedibeng flag high when she was crowned the 2025 Ms SADTU Gauteng, held at Kagiso High School in Krugersdorp on Saturday.
Her journey began when she represented Sedibeng in this competition after she was crowned 1st Princess in a South West Regional Pageant held in Carletonville last month. She was representing the Sebokeng SADTU Branch.

Mamba said it is such an incredible feeling to be crowned the Ms Gauteng SADTU.

This former educator beat the odds when she walked away with the crown, beating the rest of Gauteng. To date, she has been a teacher for seven years before she worked as an HR at Sebokeng Technical Special School. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Mamba is excited about making history after being crowned Ms SATDTU Gauteng, which she regards as a remarkable achievement.

She told Sedibeng Ster that she advocates for standing against bullying in school for learners and staff members.

“I feel every teacher, or member of SADTU, can see opportunities and responsibilities that will come with occupying space within the Union,” she said.
Apart from her job, Mamba is also involved in charity projects in her community. She told Sedibeng Ster that she is passionate about helping vulnerable people in the community.
