SEDIBENG.- Perfect Academy and Star Boys Academy will clash in a top-of-the-table SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Men’s Regional League match at George Thabe Stadium in Sharpeville on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 11:00.

This much-anticipated encounter is the highlight of the weekend, with both teams tied on nine points and separated only by goal difference. Perfect Academy currently leads the log, while Star Boys Academy is second.

This game promises fireworks as both sides remain unbeaten. Perfect Academy missed promotion by the skin of their teeth last season and consistently challenges for the league title. They’ve started the season like a house on fire, but the question remains: can they maintain their momentum until the end of the season?

Last year, they led early before surrendering the top spot to Young Pirates FC. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Perfect Academy Coach Sechaba Mofokeng said it is going to be a hell of a game as this is a must-win game for them at home.

“Look, we must win this game to open the gap between us and the teams behind us. The top three teams are equal in points. The good thing is that we’re all playing against each other this weekend,” said Mofokeng.

In another SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League fixture, second-place Ben 10 FC will be up against Moponisi United. This game will form part of a double header at the same venue, George Thabe Stadium, on Saturday. Kick-off is at 13:00.
