More than an artist, Sgubz MusiQ is a visionary force — a voice of faith, passion, and African pride.
SHARPEVILLE.- Sgubz MusiQ, born Tebogo Moye, is a multi-talented South African vocalist, songwriter, and producer from Sharpeville.
Known for his captivating blend of Acappella, Afro Pop, and Gospel, he continues to touch hearts with his soulful voice, emotional depth, and genuine storytelling.
His musical roots trace back to the Lekoa Shandu Secondary School Choir and the First Saint John Apostolic Church Choir, where his passion and natural talent began to shine. In 2004, he co-founded the renowned a cappella group Soul Renovators, showcasing his powerful vocals and creative artistry for nearly two decades.
Among his career highlights are performances at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, reaching the home visit stages of both Idols SA and The X Factor SA, and headlining the Mpumalanga Gospel Show with Soul Renovators.
Driven by a vision to inspire and uplift through music, Sgubz MusiQ dreams of establishing a music school in Sharpeville to mentor and empower young artists, offering them free access to training, guidance, and creative resources. His aspirations extend beyond South Africa, with goals to achieve digital platinum status, perform on international stages, and showcase the richness of African creativity to the world.
Under Ina Soul Records, Sgubz MusiQ has released four singles and one EP, all produced by King Dashnote, including his feature on “Sedi Laka” from Love Story alongside Nezzy Da Psychx, and other two artists he featured are Bongani and the late Fundi.
His rising influence has earned him interviews on VUT FM, Sedibeng FM, and Thetha FM, with upcoming plans to expand his reach to national radio and digital streaming platforms through RISA registration and broader music submissions.
