SHARPEVILLE.- Sharpeville-born super star, Tshepang ‘Buda’ Moremi, continues to shine in the top-flight football.
Moremi has been outstanding for Orlando Pirates since he joined the club at the beginning of the season.
Moremi is part of the Bafana Bafana 23-man squad that will face Zambia in the international friendly match at Nelson Bay Stadium on November 15.
He is on top of his game, scoring incredible goals for his club.
Moremi helped Pirates to proceed to another final when he scored a brilliant goal against Richards Bay in the Carling Black Label Cup over the weekend , and he was also responsible for the Pirates’ victory against Magesi FC in the same competition.
Bafana Bafana coach, Hugo Broos, has rewarded him for his consistent performance since the season started.
This former Sharpeville Benfica FC player has been enjoying himself since he joined the club. It is unlikely for a greenhorn to walk straight into the starting line-up of a big team like Pirates. But Moremi has cemented his place in the team. To make it more interesting, he was part of Broos’ preliminary squad and made it to the final squad.
This shows that Broos has faith in the youngsters from Sharpeville.
