SEDIBENG.- Meet Knownymous Kay, the dynamic vocalist who’s taking the music scene by storm with his infectious energy and genre-bending style.

With a repertoire that seamlessly blends Afro Pop, Sesotho Rap, Gospel, and soulful piano-driven vocals, Knownymous Kay is a force to be reckoned with.

Inspired by the likes of The Soil, Friday, Chris Brown, DJ Maphorisa, Tshego, and Cassper Nyovest, Knownymous Kay brings a unique flavour to the table, delivering high-energy performances that leave audiences craving more. Known for his ability to thrive under pressure, he is a true artist at heart, dedicated to sharing his passion and creativity with the world.

Karabo ‘Knownymous Kay’ Ntsau was born in Boitumelo, Sebokeng. His artistic journey began in 2011 while attending Boitumelo Secondary School, where he discovered his passion for music. As a worship leader at Trinity Assembly of God, he was inspired to form an a cappella group, The Origion.

Kay started recording studio sessions and collaborating with talented artists, including Symon Maguire, Kat Scavenger, Snach, Super Fly, Gerrik Fuego, Mandla El, Monalisa King, and Skeleton Blazer.

In 2019, Kay joined Manuva Heights, an entertainment company led by producer and mentor Thulani ‘Moty Mo’ Mphahla. Under Manuva Height’s wing, Kay has continued to refine his skills and is committed to his artistic growth.

Knownymous Kay is driven by his passion for music and is excited to explore the industry, eager to collaborate with new talent and pave the way to success.

“As a self-taught artist, I’ve always been drawn to the expressive qualities of colour and texture. My work is inspired by the African landscape and the emotion it evokes. I’ve had the privilege of exhibiting in local galleries and have received compliments for my contribution to the community.”
