SASOLBURG – The holiday season has officially arrived, and it’s time to have some fun!

Let your child’s confectionery creativity run wild during Minette Steurer’s annual Gingerbread House decorating workshops. Minette is bringing extra sparkle to the festive season this year with both ginger and vanilla-flavoured cookies for family fun and sweet treats.

Minette believes that building and decorating your own Christmas house is an ideal opportunity to unwind and remember what truly matters. “It’s the time to remember why we actually celebrate Christmas, the birth of Jesus, and the peace and love that come with it. I hope my Christmas houses bring some of that warmth and light to people.”

At Minette’s kitchen in Sasolburg, children (and adults with the heart of a child) can build and decorate their own vanilla/gingerbread house. The freshly baked panels, sweets, and icing sugar are provided.

For those who prefer to bring the fun home, Minette also offers DIY kits.

The activity is ideal for grandparents with grandchildren, friends, and families who want to spend time together and bring a little creative Christmas spirit into their homes.

“It brings me joy to see how children’s eyes light up when they build their own little houses. Plus, children are always so excited and full of energy, it’s contagious,” says Minette.
