SAPS Commissioner expresses gratitude ahead of festive season

Residents urged to stay vigilant, responsible, and safety-conscious over festive season.

Sedibeng District Commissioner Major General Nkhensani Mukhwevho has expressed gratitude for the work carried out by the SAPS management, men and women in blue, stakeholders, as well as the community at large.

“As we approach the end of another year, I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the management and every member of the SAPS in Sedibeng District for your unwavering dedication, resilience, and commitment to serving and protecting our communities.”

“To our partners, stakeholders, and the broader Sedibeng community-thank you for walking this journey with us throughout 2025. Your collaboration, trust, and support have strengthened our collective efforts in building safer, more united neighbourhoods. Together, we have shown that safety is not just the responsibility of the police, but a shared mission rooted in partnership and mutual respect.”

Mukwevho believes that the festive season is a time of hope, reflection, and renewal.
“May this festive period bring peace to every home, joy to every heart, and rest to all who have worked tirelessly this year. Let us take this moment to reconnect with our families, uplift one another, and enter the new year with renewed purpose.”

Mukwevho urges celebrants to remain vigilant, responsible, and mindful of each other’s safety.

“May the spirit of unity and goodwill guide us as we prepare for a productive and impactful 2026. On behalf of the Sedibeng District SAPS, I wish you all a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year. May God bless you and keep you safe.”
