This game promises to produce fireworks, with local soccer fans set to be entertained come Sunday.

VANDERBIJLPARK.- Top-flight football will be back in the Vaal when Sekhukhune United hosts Mamelodi Sundowns Reserved at Isak Steyl Stadium on Sunday.

Kick-off time is at 10:00.

This is the first game of the year.

It is going to be an interesting game, with Sundowns’ babies eager to close the gap at the top of the log. As things stand, the Orlando Pirates babies are log leaders with 31 points from 13 games.

Sundowns are second on the log with 29 points from the same number of games. However, it will not be a walk in the park for Sundowns, with United also eager to move closer to the top.

This game promises to produce fireworks, with local soccer fans set to be entertained come Sunday.

Meanwhile, the log leaders, Orlando Pirates, will travel to Durban to Amazulu in another DDC fixture on the same day.

It will be interesting to see if Pirates will extend their lead at the top of the log at the expense of Uzuthu.

However, Pirates must brace themselves for the mother of all battles as Amazulu will not be pushed over in their own backyard. This fixture is scheduled to take place at the Princess Magogo Stadium.

The rest of the DDC weekend fixtures:
