Man’s decomposed body discovered in Poortjie
Police discovered the decomposed body of the unidentified man in a densely vegetated field covered by trees and tall shrubs.
SEDIBENG.- The Orange Farms police have opened an inquest docket following the discovery of an unknown man at Klopperskraal Poortjie, south of Johannesburg yesterday (Thursday).
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Shaan Motsapi, told Sedibeng Ster that at approximately 13:00, members of the Orange Farms SAPS were alerted by a passer-by to the grim discovery in a secluded area at Klopperskraal.
“Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered the decomposed body of an unidentified African male in a densely vegetated field covered by trees and tall shrubs. The deceased was found wearing black jeans and a white golf shirt with black stripes. An Inquest docket has been opened to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.”
Orange Farms SAPS appeal to community members who may have information that could assist the investigation or lead to the identification of the deceased to come forward.
