VANDERBIJLPARK.- Local football fans are in for a treat as TS Galaxy travels to the Vaal to face the rejuvenated Sekhukhune United in the Dstv Diski Challenge (DDC).
This fixture is scheduled to take place at Isak Steyl Stadium on January 24 with kick-off at 12:00.
Sekhukhune United heads into this fixture with newfound confidence as the team showed much improvement against Mamelodi Sundowns when they played to a 1-1 draw at the same venue. It was a performance that shocked many who expected an easy win for Sundowns.
Under the guidance of coach Kaitano Tembo the team looks more organised, attacking and defending as one unit. If this performance is anything to go by, no doubt, TS Galaxy may find themselves heading home empty-handed.
Both teams have played 14 games this season and sit side-by-side in the standings on 10th and 11th position, respectively.
TS Galaxy has accumulated 16 points, while Sekhukhune United collected 15.
It is game on!
