Unknown human remains discovered in a jar in Boiketlong

SEBOKENG.-  The Sebokeng police are investigating a case of possession of human remains after they were summoned to a disheartening discovery in Boiketlong, Sebokeng on Friday.

It is alleged that on January 16, the suspects had a heated fight, when help was called.

Upon assistance bones and fat in a jar were discovered.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said that the Sebokeng police were summoned to the scene and on arrival with K9, Occult Unit, LCRC, Crime Intelligence, EMS, and Forensic Pathology Services, a preliminary investigation was conducted and it was further confirmed that the bones were indeed human remains.

“Investigation is still ongoing and the human remains were taken to Forensic Pathology Services for further investigation. The suspects were arrested and will soon appear before the Sebokeng Magistrate’s Court. The Station Commander Brigadier Thembekile Kubone would like to extend her gratitude to the patrollers and the community at large.”
