VANDERBIJLPARK.- Expect the mother of all battles when VUT FC and Metro Stars FC cross swords in the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men Regional League derby.
This local derby forms part of a double header at the Isak Steyl Stadium on Saturday.

These two sides, VUT FC and Metro FC, share the venue for training purposes and for their home games.
Despite sharing the venue, VUT FC are the hosts in this much-anticipated fixture.
Stars FC come into this encounter after an embarrassing defeat by ten-man Ben 10 FC at the same venue last weekend. On the other hand, it will be VUT FC’s first game after the Christmas break. Despite their defeat against Ben 10 FC, Stars are still second on the log standings with 23 points from the 11 games they played since the start of the campaign.
The “Students” occupy the 11th spot on the log with 12 points, but played fewer games compared to the rest of the teams in the league.
They played only eight games so far this season.
They were supposed to resume their league campaign against Perfect Academy, but requested a postponement as their players were still not back after the holidays.
