SEDIBENG.- Perfect Academy maintained their lead at the top of the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Men Regional League’s log standing.

They continued their impressive performance, beating Moponisi United FC 3-1 in another top-of-the-table clash on Saturday.

This win opened the gap between the second and third-placed teams, Ben 10 FC and Metro Stars FC. These two above-mentioned teams were also engaged in their respective SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League fixtures over the weekend. Ben 10 FC beat 016 Magista FC 3-1 to put pressure at the top, while Metro Stars FC played to a 2-2 draw against Remember Elite Sports Academy.

The two teams, Ben 10 FC and Metro Fc, were tied before this weekend’s encounters.

To make it even more interesting, these top three teams will be involved in another exciting fixture this weekend.

The log leaders, Perfect Academy, will take a short trip to Evaton North to visit Vaal Juventus FC at Qetilizwe on Saturday.

Metro Stars FC will be at home against NWU Vaal FC on the same day. However, the game of the weekend will be between Ben 10 FC and VUT FC at the George Thabe Stadium.

Despite VUT FC’s position on the log, it is not going to be an easy game for Ben 10 FC, who are currently in second place on the log standings.
