SEDIBENG.- The battle for the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League title is heating up, with Boipatong FC currently sitting at the top of the table.

Boipatong FC leads the pack with 38 points from 16 games.

They are closely followed by Ben 10 FC, who also have 38 points but sit in second place due to goal difference.

In third place is Perfect Academy with 36 points, although they have played only 14 games, two fewer than the teams above them. However, Perfect Academy suffered a major setback last weekend. Despite being the favourites, they were beaten 2-1 by Cheeky Boys Institute FC at George Thabe Stadium.

This season’s league is very interesting, and it is difficult to predict who will walk away with the title come the end of the season.

Sedibeng Ster Sport at one stage thought Perfect Academy would run with this title, but with Boipatong FC’s sudden rise to the top and points so close between the leaders, predictions are nearly impossible.
