EVATON.- The Evaton Police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a man, identified as an Ethiopian national, was found at the Evaton Cemetery yesterday morning.

Officers received a call regarding the discovery at around 10:00.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found the deceased wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. According to police spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi, the deceased had suffered multiple injuries.

” Nobody knows him…”

“It looks like he was murdered somewhere and dragged there where he was found,” said Msibi.

Msibi added that the victim is not known to anyone in the local neighbourhood. No arrests have been made as the suspects remain unknown at this stage.
