SEBOKENG. – The Sebokeng police are investigating a case of a missing person after Mbali Patricia Khumalo (28) was reported missing recently.
It is alleged that the last time Khumalo was contacted, was on May 29 when she stated that she was at her apartment in Mpumalanga Province, but never stated the exact location.

Khumalo, it is said, further stated that she was there to enrol at an unnamed nursing school.
Police spokesperson, Nthabiseng Mokhachane said that upon questioning, her friend alleged that the last time they spoke was on May 30, and as she tried to call Khumalo on June 1 and June 2 but her cellphone was unreachable.
“Mbali’s father was also contacted, but said that the last time he spoke with her daughter was in February 2026,” Mokhachane said.
There is no time frame to report a missing person.
It is unknown what Mbali was wearing upon her time of missing.
Meanwhile, the Station Commander of Sebokeng SAPS, Brigadier Thembekile Kubone, would like to emphasise that there is no time frame to report a person as missing.
“As the police we follow leads from the public and all tip-offs received will be treated as crucial.”
