Police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela believes that these engagements proactively combat crime, ensure learner safety, and foster trust between law enforcement and local youth.

Maxambela says that police in the region continue to monitor and engage with learners. The awareness was successful and had a positive impact on the learners.
