Mako puts faith in the Lord
"The church extended an invitation to Mako, who joined the congregation in an atmosphere of faith, love, and unity."
SEBOKENG. – The St. John Apostolic Faith Mission (Mzoxolo) in Zone 13 hosted a memorable, spirit-filled afternoon as the Sunday School children celebrated and honoured Mothers and Fathers on Sunday.

In attendance was the Executive mayor of the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM), Hassan Mako, who said that the occasion was a beautiful reminder of the important role that parents and guardians play in nurturing families, instilling values, and strengthening communities.
To mark this special celebration, the church extended an invitation to Mako, who joined the congregation in an atmosphere of faith, love, and unity.

In keeping with the rich traditions of the St. John Apostolic Faith Mission, members of the church, proudly dressed in their distinctive blue and white uniforms, came out in numbers to welcome Mako.
The procession drew admiration from community members and created a sense of celebration that extended beyond the church grounds.

Mako’s office said that equally heartening was the presence of local ward political formation and community stakeholders who joined residents in welcoming Mako to the area.
“Their participation showed the importance of collaboration between government, faith-based organisations, and the community in promoting social cohesion and development. The afternoon was not only a celebration of mothers and fathers but also a powerful demonstration of unity, respect, and the shared values that continue to bind the people of Zone 13, Ward 32 together.”
