Three car crash victims to be laid to rest

SEDIBENG,- Local netball star, Katleho Mile, her brother Daddy Mile, and Lesedi Ledwaba will be laid to rest on August 22.

The three died after they were involved in a tragic car accident on the R28 over the weekend, which left family, friends and the community at large devastated.

The funeral service will take place at Vereeniging Town Hall from 09:00 – 11:00. The holy communion service will take place at 9 Kwartsiet Street, Waldrift, Vereeniging at 07:00.

Katleho and Daddy are the children of the popular former Lesedi FC music compiler, Mohlouwa Mile. 

Since the accident, the three have been all over social media, with people sending condolences to the family. This includes political party leaders.

Katleho was a prominent netball player playing for Cheetahs Netball Club. 

She was part of the Sedibeng Netball U21B Team that represented Sedibeng at the Spar Netball National Championships held in Cape Town on August 5-10.

The Sedibeng U21B Team came home with a silver medal from this national tournament. Katleho was supposed to accompany the Sedibeng Male U23 Team as the team manager for the upcoming championships in the Eastern Cape.

Unfortunately, her promising netball career was cut short by this horrific car accident.
