SEBOKENG.- Recently, Public Relations (PR) students from the Vaal University of Technology (VUT), who call themselves, ‘The Media Minds’, visited the children at Tshepong Day Care Centre in Zone 14 to bring them happiness.

The students hosted a fun-filled event called ‘Come and Play with Us! Play Day’.

The event, which began in the morning and ended late in the afternoon, was held under the theme, ‘Play Day with the Children, Games, Music, Fun!’

The main goal was to share love, joy, and the spirit of Ubuntu.

The group explained to Sedibeng Ster that their main goal was to share love, joy, and the spirit of ubuntu with the children.

“The initiative was driven by the spirit of Ubuntu ‘Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu’. Together we play, together we grow,” the team said, extending their sincere gratitude to all sponsors and donors who made the day possible.

Generous donations of sandwiches and groceries ensured every child was happy.
