"I entered to grow into a leader."

SEDIBENG. – Ayanda Qobokoane (21) has reached the final of the Miss Vaal Supreme beauty pageant and is now calling on the local community for their votes.

Qobokoane began her pageantry journey in 2024 by entering the Miss Vaal Triangle Secondary Schools competition, where she claimed the title of first princess alongside the Charity Queen category.

This initial success was quickly followed by a victory in the Miss Ahang Sechaba pageant, where she won the Entrepreneur Queen category before taking home the overall crown.

She describes Miss Vaal Supreme as a contest where elegance meets presence.

I entered to grow into a leader.

Explaining her reasons for entering the competition, Qobokoane said that she wanted to challenge herself in public speaking and leadership while learning to walk with confidence.

“I entered to grow into a leader, and to be part of a platform that inspires young girls to grow, learn, lead, and to have confidence because I love inspiring young girls to think beyond what is possible”
