Master Zondo Foundation Tournament in full swing

The tournament promises to produce future stars.

SEBOKENG.- The Annual Master Zondo Foundation Tournament, featuring junior teams from the Emfuleni Local Football Association, kicked off over the weekend.

The tournament began on Saturday, with teams from Group A and Group D competing throughout the day. It was a great advert for the development of football as the youngsters showcased their talent.

Parents come in numbers

The Zone 12 community, especially parents, came in numbers to support these future football stars. However, the organisers had to suspend the Sunday fixtures due to the heavy rains. The games were between Group B and Group C teams.

The community of Sebokeng has come in numbers to support these future stars.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Master Zondo said the other groups played all their games on Saturday. He said the Sunday games were suspended for the safety of the young players.
