Prime Athletics Club transforms lives in Zamdela

The success of Prime Athletics Club is due to the unity of its members.

SEDIBENG.- Prime Athletics Club, a development athletics club based in Zamdela is not just a running club, but a tool that athletes use to build, transform, and change their lives.

The club’s members are united in their vision to become super athletes.

The success of the club is due to unity…

“The success of this club is due to the unity of coaches who came together for the best interest of development,” said Jan Ramaubane, Prime Athletics Club Manager.

Recently the club members attended the Free State Championship of Track and Field in Bloemfontein where they demonstrated their strengths.

These are but two members of the club.

“The aim is to dominate Free State and become competitive at the national level, but this can be done only if our big private sectors like Sasol and Seriti Mining, Zio Cash and Carry can be on board. We went to provincials with the help/assistance of HTS Sasolburg school; without their willingness, I don’t think Prime Athletics Club would be where it is.”

The club stands strong because of its members who are united in one vision.

The club’s members qualified to national championships winning:

Gold: 2

Silver: 4

Bronze: 2

The club is nothing without the mentioned people

“This is our request to all private sectors who want to change lives to be part of our journey. This is the only club in our district that has created opportunities for more than 20 kids to get a better education at different private schools around the country, more than 10 at university, three are currently in the USA studying while running, and currently, one of our athletes will be going to the USA to build a better future this year. This is not just a running club, but a tool for transforming lives. As a club, we would like to thank the following: athletes, parents, coaches. The club is nothing without the above-mentioned people.”
