Boipatong FC expects no slip-up against Juventus

"They are a good young team, and we are not going to undermine them.”

SEDIBENG.-  The SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League log leaders, Boipatong FC, will have no problem collecting maximum points when they host Vaal Juventus at Boipatong Stadium today,(May 17).

Kick-off time is 15:00.

This is a must-win game for Boipatong FC to maintain their position at the top of the log. As things stand, they are still at the top with 65 points, with one game remaining after this game against Juventus FC

Boipatong FC comes into this encounter after a disappointing goalless draw against Moponisi United. This is one game that might come back to haunt them after missing two ‘gifted’ penalties in both halves. However, they cannot afford to make the same mistake when they host Juventus FC tomorrow.

They are playing against a team that has nothing to play for, languishing in tenth position on the log.

Boipatong FC supporters are expected to fill the venue, as they always do when they play at home. They are the reason behind their team’s success this season, always there to cheer the players.

Sedibeng Ster Sport doesn’t see Juventus causing any upset, considering their performance this season.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport before this game, Boipatong FC’s coach Vila Mphuti said they cannot afford to drop points as they did against Moponisi United. He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that it was unfortunate not to win that game.

“We have since put what happened over the weekend behind us; it is now water under the bridge. We are looking forward to this Sunday’s game against Vaal Juventus. They are a good young team, and we are not going to undermine them,” said Mphuti.

Apart from this game, there will also be SAFA Sedibeng Regional League fixtures at various venues this weekend. For example, all eyes will be on George Thabe Stadium, where second-place Ben 10 FC will host the third-place Metro Stars FC this afternoon.

Kick-off time is 15:00.
