SEDIBENG.- Jomo Cosmos boss and coach Jomo Sono braved the cold weather on July 5 to watch the Hollywoodbets Inter-Regional Play-offs at the Meyerton Sports grounds in Vaal.

“Bra J,” as he is popularly known in soccer circles, was clearly there to scout for fresh talent to beef up his squad in preparation for the new season.

Sedibeng Ster Sport spotted Sono sitting behind a billboard watching the second game of the day between Ben 10 FC and Spartans FC.

Last season, Cosmos blew hot and cold, finding themselves in an unfamiliar position as they fought for their lives at the bottom half of the log standings to survive relegation in the ABC Motsepe League.

Despite being one of the most exciting teams in the league last season, it was clear to Sedibeng Ster Sport that Sono was there to find new players to strengthen his team.
