Sedibeng volleyball reunion games held

SEBOKENG.- The Sedibeng Volleyball hosted Volleyball Reunion Games at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14 over the weekend.
The games were part of Sedibeng Volleyball to bring ex-volleyball players back on the court. Joseph Manzi is the man behind this initiative to keep volleyball alive and active in the Emfuleni community. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Manzi said this initiative is part of development including starting the school volleyball league.

Manzi said that he thanks all the teams that came to honour their invitation by participating in this Sedibeng reunion games. He said since they started this initiative, they have managed to revive volleyball teams in Emfuleni.
“Look through this project we have managed to revive volleyball in Emfuleni and form volleyball teams through the reunion games. The aim is to see volleyball played all over Emfuleni including at school level and we have a school volleyball league as well. We are trying our level best to keep this sport active and school is the best place to revive volleyball I’m happy most of the schools are participating in the school volleyball league. The aim is to see all the schools in Emfuleni participating in the school volleyball just like they do in football,” said Manzi.
