“You are chosen to be in specific ranks, and you should never tolerate corruption,” said Brigadier Mashole Manamela.

SEDIBENG – Acting Sedibeng District Commissioner Brigadier Mashole Manamela together with senior officers on November 6 conferred 19 ranks to officers.

The special ceremony held at the cluster headquarters in Vereeniging saw promotions of eleven captains, one warrant officer, and seven Lieutenant colonels.

During the session, Brigadier Manamela congratulated the newly appointed.

“You are chosen to be in specific ranks, and you should never tolerate corruption,” he said.

Manamela said the promoted officers should prove they deserve to be in those posts.

Deputy Commissioner Brigadier Mbangwa Nkhwashu emphasised how promoted officers should add value to the District and work harder because God has trusted them amongst the applications received.

Taking turns to motivate the batch, CPF District Chairperson Simon Mokako also encouraged the recipients to work together with the community in combating crime.

Among the Senior Managers present were Brigadier Sibongile Ndaba, all Sedibeng Station Commanders, Peter Kele from Sedibeng Social Crime Municipality, and other Colonels.
