Orange Farm man arrested for illegal firearm

They received information about a male suspect.

ORANGE FARM.- In a sustained effort to remove illegal firearms from our communities, members of the Sedibeng SAPS Tracking Team, Gauteng Traffic Police High Priority Crimes & Internal Affairs, and the PRASA Operational Team were conducting patrols in Orange Farm and surrounding areas when they received information about a male suspected of being in possession of an unlicensed firearm.

Acting on the information received, the officers proceeded to Tjovitjo Extension 01 in Orange Farm, where they spotted a male matching the description provided.

“The suspect was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and apprehended,” police said.
