I bet on the wrong horse!
Mofokeng is enjoying himself at the moment!

The last time Zakes’ Sports Corner made predictions about who was going to walk away with the Soweto Derby bragging rights, I found myself in the receiving end.
Zakes’ Sports Corner went toe-to-toe with my colleague, Lerato Serero, on who was going to walk away with Soweto Derby bragging rights.
I bet on the wrong horse and I got beaten!
“This time I bet on Mofokeng…”
The truth is that, regardless of Zakes’ Sports Corner soft spot for Kaizer Chiefs, this time I bet my last cent not on Pirates but on Relebohile Mofokeng for a number of reasons. My apologies to Kaizer Chiefs supporters and management in advance. There is a famous saying that says, ‘blood is thicker than water.’
I hope you understand!
“You can’t bet on the same horse twice…”
The sad reality is that – you can’t bet on the same horse twice. The only reason Zakes’ Sports Corner bet on Mofokeng has nothing to do with Pirates. It’s all about ‘blood is thicker than water.’
MATTER OF FACT, no one can ignore the on-form Mofokeng.
You will ignore him at your own risk!
You can’t ignore Mofokeng considering his current form and the goals he has scored in the previous games.
My heart says Kaizer Chiefs but my soul says Relebohile Mofokeng!
“The country will stand still…”
It is a fact, Vaal nation will be rallying behind Mofokeng come Sunday as all the roads will be leading to FNB Stadium on Sunday.
The country will come to a standstill!
This time around Zakes’ Sports Corner bet on a different ‘horse’, and the streets of Sharpeville will be buzzing come Sunday. The truth is that Chiefs play Pirates when Mofokeng is enjoying the freedom of field.
He is the Vaal Golden boy!
