BOPHELONG.- On May 11 at around approximately 07:40, the Community Emergency Response Team Vaal (CERT Vaal) crew was dispatched to a multi-vehicle collision on the Golden Highway near Bophelong.

Upon arrival, it was established that three light motor vehicles were involved in the collision.

Three patients sustained minor/moderate injuries.

Reports are that all patients were assessed and treated on scene before being transported to various medical facilities by ER24 EMS (Pty) Ltd. and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services.
