SEDIBENG. – Passengers had to be evacuated yesterday after an Ipelegeng bus allegedly failed because of a mechanical fault. The bus subsequently started burning.

Vereeniging Police Spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda confirmed the incident, adding that no injuries or fatalities were reported.

Ipelegeng  has  since launched an investigation into the incident.
