Gates of Praise pays surprise visit to patients at South Coast Hospice
The gifts were gratefully received.
A TEAM from Gates of Praise, Silver Liners, surprised the South Coast Hospice recently, bearing gifts of handmade fleece shoulder wraps and scarves for Hospice patients to help them keep the cooler weather at bay.
“What a warm gift, made with lots of love, to give to patients living with life threatening illnesses. We pray their hands will remain nimble and continue to bless others with their love and talents,” said BT King, Hospice’s fundraising coordinator.

Mrs King thanked Juliana van Wyk, Chris van Wyk, Tilly Petterson, Esmé Gray, Wendy McCracken and Denise Lloyd from the Gates of Praise, Silver Liners for the lovely gesture.
“Mr van Wyk was adamant that he is only the ‘fetch and carry’ person and the driver when required but he is a very valued member of the group,” said Mrs King.
Mrs King together with Esmé Gray, Hospice charity shop manager, welcomed them all and the group shared tea, coffee and biscuits in the Day Care Lounge.
