First day at ‘Big School’ for South Coast Grade 1s

Most of the learners were all smiles.

Schools reopened yesterday (Wednesday) and also welcomed new learners.

It is now ‘big school’ for the Grade 1s, while some were excited, others were a little anxious.

Most of the learners were all smiles, looked smart and ready for class. It was also about making friends and new experiences too.

Also matric results were released.

More than 13 500 learners wrote the IEB exam in 2022, with 98.41% qualifying for higher education. Some 89.32% achieved a Bachelor’s degree pass.

The National Senior Certificate examination results were released today (Thursday).
