The Khanya Hospice team was recently visited by Shabina Bugwandeen who did a beautiful Diwali setup at the hospice house. Shabina is also planning to hold a fundraising ladies high tea soon.

Don’t forget about hospice wanting to have a One Day Caregivers Course as a fundraiser. Hospice is still looking for a sponsor for this. They have to do the printing, compiling of notes, printing of certificates, teas and coffees and something to eat for tea time, lunch and afternoon tea for about 15 people. This will be an education and training session. Hospice would charge R500 per person to generate money which has been paid out the last two weeks for nursing care. If you can help, call 083 5978985.

Voting is happening as I type this Monday. Lines of people queuing to attempt to make a difference. This time of voting is crucial in everyone’s live.
