Man found dead in Umbango home

Police are investigating.

An inquest docket has been opened at Port Shepstone Saps to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Ramsamy Sithamma Naidoo (64) at a home in Torwood Crescent in Umbango on June 22.

According to Saps Ugu District Communications, paramedics declared the man dead at the scene.

“The investigation is ongoing and if any foul play is suspected, police will effect the necessary arrests. A post-mortem examination will confirm the cause of death,” said police.
