Port Shepstone temples to observe Lakshmi prayer this Friday

Devotees pray for good health, wealth and wisdom

Hindu temples in Port Shepstone will observe Varalakshmi Vratham, which is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi on August 21.

Devotees pray for good health, wealth, wisdom, and family harmony.

The prayer will be observed at the following temples:
Umbango Sri Siva Soobramoniar Alayam at 18:00. For more information, contact Kevin on 083-375-3876.
Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir at 18:00. For more information, contact Veena on 067-068-8282.

Port Shepstone and District Tamil Association at 18:00. Contact Radha on 071-483-5568.
Also, the Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir will observe its Gita Week and Krishna Janmashtami from August 28 to September 3.

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness invites all to join its Krishna Janmashtami celebration at the Andhra Sabha Hall on August 22 at 15:00.

The guest speaker will be HG Smita Krishna Das.

The programme includes a discourse on the Bhagavad Gita, drama and dance, and bhajans. A vegetarian meal will be served. For more details, contact Rajen on 082-836-2758.
