Art, wine, jazz and comedy on offer

THIS year’s South Coast Spring Wine Festival (sponsored by Spier) at Riverbend is once again offering South Coasters a feast of fabulous events from September 25 to 28.

‘The Factor of Light’ art exhibition featuring acclaimed Eastern Cape artist, Bob McKenzie, opens at Riverbend’s Art Gallery on Thursday (25th) at 6pm.

More than 30 estates offering 120 wines will be on offer at the Wine Festival which takes place the following day (26th). A new comedy/blues evening has been added to the repertoire. ‘Whose Wine is it Anyway’ will be staged on Saturday (27th) followed by ‘Jazz and Shiraz’ featuring Platform Jazz with vocalist Shelley McLean on Sunday (28th) from 10.30am. Also on offer is a Spier champagne tasting and a spectacular brunch.
