Azalea hosts piano recital

 

A FIRST for Azalea Hall at Margate Retirement Village and a special treat for music lovers will be a performance by internationally acclaimed pianist Benjamin Fourie.

This highly talented musician has performed throughout South Africa and in Namibia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Serbia. Particularly well known for his interpretations of contemporary piano music, he will grace the Azalea stage on Friday, May 22 at 6.30pm for 7pm.

In 2010 Benjamin was invited to present a lecture and recital and to give a master class at the second World Piano Conference in Serbia. He has performed with all the leading South African orchestras and in London and at the Edinburgh Festival.
