Buckshot rocks into Ramsgate

Three-piece rock band Buckshot, fuelled by a shared love for good old rock and roll music, will be performing at the Rocky Ridge music venue this Saturday, March 31 at 8pm. Gates open at 6pm and tickets cost R30 per person.

Members of the band are Koos Cordier, Quinten le Roux and Rick de Kock. The trio has been producing music and performing together since 2013. Their mission is to bring back the essence of pure, raw and passionate rock music. They dream of living their lives on the road, bringing their particular brand of rock to the masses.

Spokesman for the music group said: “It won’t be our first time performing on the South Coast. We have played at the Margate Village Tavern and Rocky Ridge in Ramsgate, a few times before. We love the South Coast crowd and they seem to love us back.”

The band also said it had a few exciting things coming up such as releasing its full length debut album next month. The album is entitled ‘This One’s On Us’ because they have been marketing and recording their music themselves since their inception.

“We will be bringing a copy or two down to Rocky Ridge, as well as some free singles for the crowd.”
