Cupcakes give hope to children

Marketing manager of Shelly Centre, Tessa Pendock invites everyone to support Cupcakes of Hope by donating or purchasing cupcakes.

SEPTEMBER is cancer awareness month and Shelly Centre has teamed up with Cupcakes of Hope, a non profit organisation, to create awareness and raise funds for children with cancer.

On Saturday, September 28 from 8:30am to 5pm cupcakes, kindly donated by the management of Shelly Centre and members of the community, will be sold in the centre court outside Pick n Pay in aid of charities such as Reach For a Dream, Cansa, Choc and The Sunflower Fund. The money will go towards medical treatment, travelling costs, school fees, clothing and the day-to-day living expenses of children with cancer.

Members of the community are urged to support this event and make a difference by baking and donating cupcakes for an amazing cause.

Cupcakes will be sold for R10 each.
