Dancers go on stage

IF you love dance, you can’t afford to miss the South Coast’s annual celebration of dance in all its forms.

This year the popular show, ‘Dance Celebration’, takes place at the Wild Coast Sun Tropical Nites Theatre on Saturday, August 2. There will be two shows, at 2pm and 7pm.

As usual the popular Dance Celebration is a collaboration by all our local dance studios and it highlights the South Coast’s top talent. The programme includes many forms of dance, from classical ballet, to ballroom and modern dancing.

Started many years ago as a South Coast Arts Festival happening, it is one of the few events that outlived the festival and shows are still held every year.

Tickets for Dance Celebration are available at Aquarius Pharmacy, Port Shepstone and Ramsgate Stationers. While Ramsgate Stationers is in the process of moving to new premises, the store, ‘Ginger Snap’ at the Southcoast Mall will help out with ticket sales.

Ticket prices are R60 for adults and children over 3 years and R40 for pensioners.
