Dave Starke rocks at the Rock

DAVE  Starke, a musician from Eshowe, Zululand, will be jamming The Rock Muscic Bistro stage with ‘pull in, plug in and play’ host Oscar Swanlund on Sunday afternoon, January 11.

Originally from Cape Town, Dave studied theatre and performance at the University of Cape Town Drama School.

He plays a blend of reggae, blues, country and rock and is not opposed to a bit of a swing track either. Using guitar, bass and hand percussion he blends tracks together using looping technology to build a complex, meditative performance and then turns to solo guitar for stripped down musical simplicity.
