Learn more about the bible at Assembly Day

Jehovah’s Witnesses from Port Edward to Scottburgh, and as far inland as Matatiele, will hold their ‘Assembly Day’ at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre next Saturday, January 27, from 9.40am to 4pm.

The theme is ‘Do not give up in doing what is fine’ based on Galatians 6:9. All are welcome, admission is free and no collection will be taken.

Look forward to encouraging Bible-based talks, experiences and interviews by travelling overseer Errol Charters and local speakers.

The morning programme will feature a symposium which contains practical advice on how to use social media wisely, how to choose wholesome entertainment, how to fight the spirit of envy and how to invest in a secure future.

The afternoon session will begin with the public discourse ‘Avoid Mocking God? – In What Sense?’ This will be followed by the weekly Watchtower Study and the second symposium, ‘Keep Sowing to the Spirit’.

Talks will show how to develop good study habits and how all can use Bible principles to guide their lives. Programmes will be available at the door and contain five review questions.
