THE Bollywood musical, Shaam-e-Rangeen, will be staged at the Tropical Nites Theatre, Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino Resort, from March 12 to 14 at 8pm.

Direct from India, it is a fluid, seamless journey that starts in a bygone era and gradually gains modern sophistication. Produced by Raman Kannar, it is a combination of two quintessential sources of Indian entertainment, music and dance.

Shaam-e-Rangeen revisits the rich Mughal era, encounters the teasing Nautanki and embraces the vibrancy of Indian classical music and dance. More than just a show, it is an experience as the nimble-footed, classically trained dancers cast a spell on the audience.

Together with the opulent settings, exquisite costumes and elaborate jewellery, the show offers diverse genres of music and dance, drama and colourful extravagance.
